This half term we were lucky enough to work with an artist called Jacqui Smith every week. She helped us to explore the artwork of Georgia O' Keeffe and her paintings of flowers. We had lots of fun experimenting with different materials, techniques and we created some beautiful art.
We had a visit from Topsy Turvy Theatre company to watch a performance of 'Christopher Nibble'. We had a fantastic time and the performance helped us to understand our core text for the half term.
This half term we took care of some caterpillars and watched them grow into beautiful butterflies! We studied the life cycle of a butterfly and observed changes in our investigation area. Finally we set our butterflies free in our forest schools area.
In computing and science we enjoyed using an Ipad to create a collage of different flowers.
