We evaluated our egg protectors and make a prediction about how successful it would be at preventing an egg from breaking. We tested our egg protectors by dropping them from a height.

We were introduced to our new science topic by going into our outdoor classroom to explore different materials, their properties and what they are used for. Here is what we found...

What food do mice like to eat?

The scientist Steven Lewis Neill came into school to teach us about healthy eating. We carried out an investigation to find out what mice like to eat!

First we made a prediction and gave a reason why, the we carried out the investigation to test whether our prediction was correct. We put the pieces of food in separate places and watched to see which type of food the mouse went to. They used their sense of smell to find the food.
