After seeing the photograph of Victoria Park that Yusuf's mum sent, I decided to go for a walk there this morning. It was a bit cold and grey but, at least, I got a bit of exercise.

Hi everyone. It is Captain Tom Moore’s 100th birthday today. I have added a little bit of extra home learning that is linked to him. Don’t forget to have a look. I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
I wanted to tell you what happened to the fish. I brought them home when school closed but a few days later, in the night, the fish tank leaked! When Mr Wilkinson woke up in the morning he found something terrible, when he went in to feed the fish! The glass at the bottom of the fish tank had cracked and the water had come out. It went in to the bedrooms and through in to the garage! It was such a mess and the fish were gasping for breath! Luckily Mr Wilkinson managed to save them and they now have a lovely, new fish tank.
I want to call the fish by name. We already know that Larry is the loach and I have named the tiny grey fish as Tiddler. I named one of the goldfish Dotty because she has a big dot on her tail. We need you to think of names for the other three fish. Look at them carefully before you think of names. Email me your ideas. We will choose the names when we are back together.
Imaan has been very busy doing some art work with an important message. Well done Imaan. I want you and all of our families to stay safe.

Hi Class 7! Do you all know that if you click on the 2 stars below this one, you will find a variety of home learning. Try your best to do a bit each day. Ask someone in your family to email me your learning. Ask them to photograph it and then add it as an attachment to the email. We are a class of 30 children and my dream is to have heard from all of you before we get back to school.
I’ll be in touch later with some news about the fish.
I am very impressed with Falak, Yusuf U and Ibrahim who have all returned their completed quizzes. I hope tomorrow I get another 27. I would be a very happy teacher if that happens. Come on Class 7!

Ibrahim has worked really hard today. He has found out about Saint George and the Dragon. His writing is brilliant. Well done!
Hello Class 7. I hope you and your families are safe and well. I know Ramadan starts for you tomorrow. If we had been at school I would have asked you all to make a Ramadan promise so I would like you to email me with your promises. Think of something that is quite hard for you. Perhaps giving up sweets or ice cream or joining in with prayer at home more than you usually do. Have a think and let me know what you have decided.
Every Ramadan I also make a promise so I will also be making mine. I will not be eating chocolate, I will give more money to charity and I will say my prayers every morning.
Yusuf Usman has been an absolute super star. He has completed the next maths challenge.
I have had an email from Ibrahim. He has been working very hard. Keep it up Ibrahim!

At the moment it is the second week of our holiday but, from Monday, I am really hoping you all get on with your home learning and you ask your family to send it to me at my email address.
I am missing you so much and I spend a lot of time thinking about you and wondering how you are.

Alia has been very busy, as usual. She has been very creative, as you will see. I was very pleased to read, in her email, that she has been regularly looking at our class page and reading about what you have all been doing. Don’t forget to send me an email, so you can also be on our class page.

Missing you all so much!!
Good morning Class 7. What a beautiful day! I expect you have seen how people all over the country are using the rainbow as a symbol of hope. If you have time can you make one and put it in your window. When we get back to school I would like to make a book for us to add our rainbows and our memories of this time. We might become as famous as Samuel Pepys! I look forward to seeing all your rainbows.
love from Mrs Wilkinson
Hello children. I hope you are all well. I have just done Joe Wick’s PE. It was really good. If you go on to YouTube.com you can give it a try. It would be good if we could all get fitter while we are away from school. Take care. Missing you all so much!
