In geography this half-term, we explored our local area and our own school grounds to identify human and physical features. In history, we investigated what life in Nelson would have been like in the past. We visited Blackburn Museum to help us with our understanding. We found out that lots of people came to live in our towns to work in the mills which could be very dangerous places.
We talked a lot about kindness and respect during our collective worship sessions and learnt about Christianity; the stories Jesus told and how Christians believe he taught others to be kind to one another.
