Week 6

Ismail

It was lovely to hear from Ismail and his Mummy again this week.  It sounds like he has been very busy, again!

Ismail has been enjoying his daily walks and collected nay leaves that were on the ground.  When he got home he made an amazing leaf man.

Ismail's Mummy told me that he is really missing his Grandad and being able to go to visit him at his house.  I think we all understand how Ismail is feeling, I know that I am certainly missing all my family.  Ismail had a wonderful idea to bake his Grandad a delicious cake and made a life size cut out hug for him too.  That is a wonderful idea Ismail and I'm sure your Grandad can't wait to give you a big hug!

Ismail has continued to look after his sunflower seeds and makes sure he waters them everyday.  He is still keeping his seed diary and I followed Ismail's instructions when I planted my chilli seeds.  When they start to sprout I will take a picture of them, but at the minute I can't see what is happening underneath the soil.  I'll make I water them everyday Ismail!

As you all know Ramadan started last Saturday and Ismail has really enjoyed learning all about this special time.  He has a lovely countdown activity book and he designed a beautiful Mehndi pattern.  During Ramadan Ismail also has lots of treats to open each day.  I wonder what little treats Ismail has already opened!

Ismail has also enjoyed reading Jack and the Beanstalk.  He has made an amazing beanstalk, using toilet and kitchen rolls!  Ismail, your beanstalk is absolutely amazing!  Please could you save it as I would like that for Class 3?

Ismail then decided to climb up the beanstalk!  I don't think I would have been so brave.  I don't want to meet a giant!  What did you find at the top of your beanstalk, Ismail?  I hope it was something nice!

WOW Ismail!  I can't keep up with all your super learning.  It is always wonderful to read your Mummy's emails and see what you have been doing (it always makes me smile).  It's lovely to see your smiley face and I can't wait to see your big smile when school re-opens!

It was lovely to hear from Haris and his family this week.  It looks like Haris has been working through his home learning pack and reading a story to his family.  You are a super reader Haris and I'm glad to see that you are reading every day!

Well done Haris!  Thank you for sharing all your learning with your friends.  Keep up all the hard work you are doing so well!

It was wonderful to receive an email from Leon today.  He wanted to share with everyone all his super home learning.  It looks like he has been very busy.

But the best thing about this email was seeing Leon's big smile!

Well done Leon, this is super home learning.  Keep up all your hard work, I am very proud of your learning.
