In literacy this half-term, we have been exploring 'alternative' traditional tales and how some stories might change if something was different. Our key text was Mr Wolf and the Three Bears by Jan Fearnley. We had lots of fun writing in role as some of the characters and we used the original plot to write our own 'twisted' tales.
As part of our Building Bridges partnership, our friends from Wheatley Lane Primary School came to visit us. We showed them around our wonderful school and enjoyed carrying out some science experiments. We also worked together to make some bird feeders as it is hard for them to find food at this time of year and we also made friendship bracelets for each other to remember our time together. All of the children were amazing hosts and really loved seeing their friends again.
