GOODBYE AND THANK YOU

I am very sad to be saying goodbye to Class 7. I have had a wonderful year. The children have worked hard and are kind, helpful and polite.

I would like to say a very big thank you to you all.

EVERY PICTURE TELLS A STORY

This half term we  are looking forward to being part of the whole school project A Picture Tells a Thousand Words.”

Class 7 are looking at black and white drawings by a Russian artist called Yury Poberehnsky. We will be looking at black and white animals in our world, writing stories and poems and making up our story to share with you all at our school Carnival.

We went in to the forest school and sketched our favourite area. 

We used our sketches to make pictures in the style of Yury Poberehnsky.

Class 7 did an amazing job in Sports Day today. Well done everyone. I am very proud of you all!

Our topic for this half term is Flight and Space. We will be looking at books by author Simon Bartram.

21st February

I hope you have all had a good holiday. Our topic for this half term is The Great Fire of London. We will be looking at what happened, why it happened and how the event changed the way houses were built afterwards and how important the fire services are to us today.

Tuesday 4th January

Happy New Year to you all. It is so nice to be starting a new term. Our topic for this half term is WHAT IF? We will be looking at books by Jan Feranley, in particular Mr Wolf and the Three Bears.

Talk Boost Superstars

Welcome to Class 7. There are 4 adults in our class. Mrs Wilkinson is the class teacher, Mrs Ahmed is a higher level teaching assistant, Miss Aslam is a teaching assistant and Mrs Hussain, a teaching assistant, comes in to our class on Thursdays.

PE is on Wednesday. Please could your child wear PE clothes to school that day

Art is usually on Tuesdays. Your child can bring an old T shirt if you are worried about them getting dirty.

Forest school will be on Thursdays after half term. Your child could bring old shoes or boots on that day.

Music is on Thursdays until half term.
