Music Development Plan
All schools should have a music development plan, as set out in the national plan for music education.
Schools should publish a summary of their music development plan on their website.
In our school, the music curriculum exposes children to a variety of musical experiences, through which we aim to build the confidence of every child. Children are taught to listen to and respond to a range of musical experiences, fostering a lifelong love and appreciation of different music forms. We teach them core skills to compose, perform, and evaluate their own musical sequences. All children, regardless of need, participate in music lessons that are adapted and inclusive for everyone.
We were awarded the Music Mark in the academic year 2023-2024 and will resubmit for the academic year 2024-2025.
