Summer 1 - Spring and Growth
Our key text this term is Jack and the Beanstalk.
In maths the children have been finding one more and one less than a number. The children worked with a friend, in the maths area, to one more and one less.
The children have had a fantastic time learning all about the King's Coronation. They had a fantastic time at the Coronation party and some children even enjoyed having afternoon with the King! The children enjoyed wearing their red, white and blue party clothes and dressing up as a King's soldier.
The children have been painting their own beanstalks. They then thought of different adjectives to describe the beanstalk.
In our literacy learning the children have been acting the opening scene of Jack and the Beanstalk. They then wrote their own speech bubbles for the main characters in the story.
