Summer 2

The children were very excited when a mysterious present arrived at our classroom door.

 

Once we had opened the present we found a beautiful pair of shoes - but we didn't know who they belonged to!

 

We looked carefully at the shoes and some children tried them on to see if they would fit.  The sounds made us think of India.  We then went into the library to find books all about India and their festivals.  We watched videos of people drumming and taking part in the Holi festival.

 

The children are very excited to learn all about Indian culture.
