Dear children and parents,
Unfortunately we have had to break up a little sooner than we’d have liked. The teachers in Class 1 miss you all already and we hope that you and your families stay very safe and well during this time.
Parents - thank you so very much for all your continued support - you really have been fantastic at an uncertain time. We will miss chatting to you every day at the door and hearing about your weekends activities. I know your weekends may look a little different in the coming weeks but please do all you can to stay safe and well.
We look forward to catching up with you all very soon - you are all an amazingly kind and supportive bunch. Keep on looking out for each other :) we’re lucky to have you and your children at Whitefield.
Sending much love to you all.
Mrs Hutchinson, Miss O’Horo and Mrs Worswick xx
P.s - Mrs Hutchinson has added some links at the bottom of the page to help your Mummys and Daddys teach you at home. I hope you're all having fun. Be good :) x
Mums and Dads - If you need anything at all then please keep in touch with Mrs Hutchinson on:
I’d LOVE to receive any photos/ videos of what you’re all up to, or even just a simple email to tell me you’re ok. Watch this space and I might add photographs of what I’ve been doing too.
Welcome to Class 1!
In class 1 we:
We smile together,
We laugh together,
We work together,
We learn together!
The children in class 1 love to learn! The teachers base learning around the interests of the child, so that learning is fun and exciting! The staff in class 1 work very hard to create a learning environment that provides opportunities for exploration, challenge and achievement. In class 1 the teachers are incredibly proud of every child! We celebrate children's learning and behaviour daily and love to hear about learning at home. Please feel welcome to bring in pieces of work that your child has completed at home - we would love to showcase their learning.
We hope that all of the children enjoy their first year in school!
