Welcome to Class 1!

In class 1 we:

We smile together,

We laugh together,

We work together,

We learn together!

The children in class 1 love to learn! The teachers base learning around the interests of the child, so that learning is fun and exciting! The staff in class 1 work very hard to create a learning environment that provides opportunities for exploration, challenge and achievement. In class 1 the teachers are incredibly proud of every child! We celebrate children's learning and behaviour daily and love to hear about learning at home. Please feel welcome to bring in pieces of work that your child has completed at home - we would love to showcase their learning.

We hope that all of the children enjoy their first year in school!

Parent Reminders

 On Wednesday morning we have P.E. Please make sure your

child is dressed for P.E before they come to school on this day.

Children will change their reading books on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday so please ensure to send reading bags into school every day. We also have a group of children who we hear daily. Please keep checking your child's reading record and write a comment inside each time you hear them read.

Homework is set on a Friday.
