History

We have been learning about old and new things in Nelson, including the old Whitefield Infant School, which is now Lomeshaye Junior School. We looked at photographs of what school life was like at the old school and how it compared to our school now.

We have also been learning about a man called Learie Constantine, who was a cricketer who played for Nelson Cricket Club. He was an immigrant who came over to live in England from Trinidad.
