The Perfect Pet
In science this half term we are learning all about animals. We enjoyed a visit from a local scientist who brought different animals and creatures for us to compare and contrast.
In forest school we created habitats for different animals. We used natural materials to make them a home, thinking about what they needed.
In maths we created repeating patterns using shapes, objects and numbers.
We were lucky enough to take part in a dance workshop all about Diwali. We told the story of Rama and Sita through dance.

In Design Technology we created sliders or moving pictures to show the journey of a character in our core text.
As part of nursery rhyme week we enjoyed learning the song ‘Five Little Speckled Frogs’.

In science we are learning all about carnivores, herbivores and omnivores. We had a very fun science lesson where we explored animal ‘poo’ and we investigated the animals diet!
