The Big Brown Boots

This half term we have based our learning on a pair of old, brown boots.

We talked about who the boots might belong to and where they might have been.

We decided to take our boots on a journey, walking up some of the mountains of the world. We found out lots of information about the mountains and the countries and continents where they could be found.

First we climbed up Ben Nevis in Scotland. We looked at an artist called Charles Rennie Macintosh. We drew thistles. There were so many in our school gardens!

Next we went to Russia to climb the Ural Mountains.

After Russia we travelled to Pakistan to climb up K2.
