At Whitefield, we want to develop life-long learners, who are not only prepared for life academically, but who are also socially and emotionally prepared. We have identified 10 core values that we want to develop in our children. Every half term, we introduce new values to our children. All our assemblies focus around explaining and deepening the children's knowledge and understanding around them. We have linked our half termly values to celebrations/events that will be happening around that time to help put them into context and give them meaning.
Are values are;
Each class has a 'Values Tree', which they add children's names to it if they demonstrate our values. We also have a school tree in our Hall to share during assembly time and are building up a display of our values in action for all the children and our visitors to see.
Our school values dovetail into our SMSC and British Values curriculum.
