Zainab

Well done Zainab for your excellent phonics home learning.  She has used bun cases to build words.  Zainab then practices reading them back and blending them.  She then wanted to write the words that she had made.  This is a super idea Zainab, well done 

Yusuf

Both Yusuf's Mummy and teachers are so proud of how well he is doing at home.  Yusuf decided that on Saturday morning that he wanted to write his numbers to 10!  Sometimes teachers struggle to get motivated on a Saturday!

Yusuf has been completing his phonics learning and drew a clock for the 'ck' digraph.

It has been wonderful to see Yusuf enjoying doing creative things as well.  He used some paper and glue to cover a balloon and making a rainbow.  Yusuf has also enjoyed spending time with his brother and sister.  He helped them with a science experiment.  It looked like you enjoyed blowing the bubbles Yusuf! 

Dhua

Dhua is working so hard with her phonics home learning and she is making her teachers very proud.  Dhua has used her 'robot arms' to segment the words and write them.  Well done Dhua 

Dhua's Mummy has sent more learning.  She has continued to make fantastic progress with her Phase 3 phonics.  Dhua has even used her phonics to write sentences using her phonics.  Excellent learning Dhua 

Hawa

It was lovely to see Hawa's maths learning this week.  She has been practising her number bonds to 10, using the part, part, whole method.  Hawa thought of a clever way to help her, she used pasta!  Well done Hawa 

Saad

Well done Saad, who has been busy this week completing his phonics and maths home learning.  He has been learning how to write the tricky word 'no' and finding different ways to make 10. 

Saad's Mummy has sent some more photographs of him doing his maths learning.  He has been learning about repeating patterns and noticed that his socks have a repeating pattern on them!  Saad then went on a search for more repeating patterns around his house.

Sana

Well done Sana!  Sana has worked so hard with her letter formation during her time at home.  She has become confident with her phonics and she is segmenting and writing words independently.

Sana is really enjoying completing her maths learning and has even done extra.  Well done Sana! 

Zainab

It has been wonderful to hear from Zainab and her Mummy today.  Zainab has shared lots of her super home learning.  She has been using her phonics pack to keep practicing her phonics learning and enjoying completing the activities on the online resources.  Zainab has even had time to complete 4 jigsaws!  Her Mummy was so pleased with how well she did with them.  They 45 pieces each!  Well done Zainab
