This half term our learning has all been focused around a landscape by the artist 'David Hockney'. We have looked at his artwork and gone on a journey of colour in nature.
In art we have explored texture, colour and line.
We have used recycled materials to create landscapes in the style of Hockney.
We have explored the colours we could see in the fields and explored creating our own patterns to represent the fields. We used water colours and oil pastels to get different effects.
We have used fruits and vegetable, and objects from around the classroom to explore patterns and lines.
We put all our skills together and created a collaborative piece of artwork to represent our colourful journey.
