Science
We wet outside today as part of our science learning. We were looking for animals in a variety of habitats in and around our school. Ask your child what we saw and where we saw it.
Today in Science we worked as a team to place animals in their correct habitat. It was lovely to hear lots of amazing scientific vocabulary as the children decided where each animal belonged.
Scientist, Steven Lewis Neill came to our school. He worked with class 7 on their topic of animals and their habitats. We spent the afternoon looking for animals in our forest school habitat and making our own habitats for worms, snails and wood lice.
We will be learning about animals and their offspring and the habitats they live in.
