It's Up To Us!
This half term we will be learning about animals that are endangered and threatened. We will be finding out why they are becoming endangered.
In Art we will be looking at different animals. We will carefully look at the lines and colours and create textures using different media. We will then create artwork with the scratch oil effect and use ICT to create Pop Art.
In English we wrote non-fiction reports about endangered animals, poems and a story.
As a class we wanted to adopt an Orangutan. We wanted to help the endangered animals. We wrote a letter to parents asking for donations for an ice cream. We made £70 and adopted an Orangutan called Satsuma!
In D.T we designed and made Pizza’s. They were yummy!
Building Bridges
Our friends from St Thomas came to visit! We had lots of fun together in the sunshine!
