Exploring ICE!!

This week in topic, we have been learning all about the season Winter. We did lots of learning all about ice and what it is! The children explored the ice and how it felt. We did some ice painting and helped to free the animals from the big ice block!

We also made some beautiful Winter artwork!

Bird Feeders...

We have been doing lots of learning all about animals in Winter.

This week we talked about the birds and how we need to help them because there isn't much food in Winter!!

We made our own bird feeders and put them into Forest school for the birds to eat!

We have also had so much fun exploring Forest School for the first time!!!

Chinese New Year!

This week in topic we have been learning all about Chinese New Year and how people might celebrate it. We have been exploring Chinese writing, dancing and we made our own Chinese dragon!

Melting and Freezing...

We were exploring melting and freezing in our topic learning this week. We did an experiment to find out what would melt the ice and free the polar bears!

We discovered that the hot water melted the ice the quickest!
