People who help us
Our topic this half term is 'People who help us'
We are going to be learning about all the special people who help to keep us safe and healthy in our local community.
We enjoyed learning all about the fire service! We had a visit from Inayet Kellys Grandad who works as a firefighter! He cam to nursery to visit with some of his friends! We all got the chance to use the hose and sit in the fire engine!
We created our own fire engines using boxes and loose parts! We then took on the role of fire fighters!
The Police help to keep us safe in our local community! We had a visit from some local officers who spoke to us all about the different roles they have! They bought their police car to nursery and we got to listen to the siren!
We took n the role of police officer in nursery and created some beautiful art work!
We know that we have to cross the road with a grown up! We had a visit from out local lollypop lady who helped us to cross the road and spoke to us about how we should keep safe by following the road safety rules!
Eid Mubarak
We enjoyed celebrating Eid in nursery!
We know that if we are poorly we sometimes need to visit the Dr. Sometimes, if we are very poorly or hurt we have to go to the hospital. We enjoyed learning all about the amazing work of our NHS.
